hmmm...

Both rappers had great interesting lyrics that really attacked the weak spots of each rapper verses and past battles. Recording quality was also very good and the general listenability was great.

Nimbus - Nimbus is pretty much a "General" in the rap community in NG his first verse consisted of perfectly planned curses and lines relating to past battles and cuss's about Cynic. I do find that it gets quite repettive but his change of speed goes well.

His flow was perfect i have never really written lyrics but i see how Nimbus makes it look so hard it is through perfect lines with the just ammount of syllable's. Music is nothing without lyrics and throughout past battles you see people who go bfor all the same speed and flow that miss out on the important parts Lyrics.

Cynic - Cynic started slow with his 1st verse which contained more use of slashing curses and more thought out lines which do work with his changing speed throughout the whole verse. His 2nd verse contained harsher verse's with better delivery and consistant vocals.

All in all a well contested Battle!

Cynic wins for- whereas Nimbus keeps to a more basic Rhyme scheme with interesting lyrics but Cynic came through harsher and harder attacking much more interesting topics to do with Nimbus

CYNIC!

Did anyone else find the track a bit quiet?

cool

Well..

Qsik - Recording quality was a lot less defined and slightly fuzzy but his flow and lyrics worked well and all concluded toghether to make a pretty fast paced lyrical verse. His lyrics were a lot more memorable if a bit weird which is quite good. a few hiccups thorughout due to a bit to many lyrics and hiccips in flow. overall very good.

TehSlappyHappy - Lyrics VERY generic and lesscreative it does sound like freestyle. as well as boring speed which all tohgether makes it slightly less interesting to listen to than Qsik. However where Qsik is better lyric'ly. And Qsik's flow and voice as well as recording quaity is less enjoyable and much worse.

Rather a large controversy in my mind but.. TehSlappyHappy very generic but overall flow beats Qsik sloppy flow and delivery!

TEH SLAPPY HAPPY
(good battle)

QSik responds:

Lol, my flow was perfectly on-point, I don't think it was sloppy at all.
As far as quality, this is newgrounds, sorry if you were expecting some sort of professional 100-dollar mic from this poor guy.

But everybody is entitled to their opinion, and I appreciate you for leaving it! :)

hmmm... Joey Keys.

Well... first i have to say both rappers were incredibly good. flow, delivery it was all here. as well as great mic quality which is rare in NGHH.
So.

Joey Keys voice fitted with the beat in the first very well his speed was pretty damn good as well, all in all his flow was better.

PigPen lyrics were more a lot more dynamic as well as his voice much more fresh than Joey Keys. which is quite generic.

All over though im going to have to go with Joey Keys partially i think he was lucky to have this beat which really compliments his speed although i have to question how he decided to resort to slashing curses in his 2nd verse. but at the end of the day more consistent - JOEY KEYS!

(bEST RAP BATTLE I HAVE HEARD SO FAR)

Gloine

Damn Gloine you brought all the rage here!
Great hype track mate, cant wait to hear you spit in the real thing!
Wont be taking part this year cause i dont have anyway to record it.. but i am a judge.

Cant wait to see you there!

GloineFiodh responds:

Thanks man! Sorry your not in it

YES!

Great stuff you, have true meaning to this song.. which is where plenty of people fail i agree with others where extra words could fit into your bars for more consistent flow. But all in all great song. Chorous was damn catchy -" Life won't stop
Life will go on"
well i hope your lyrics will go on because i have much to learn from your songs!

seeing you at 2011 NG hip-hop Competition?

Amazing

Couldnt stop listening!

glitchs2d responds:

Thanks

Amazing

I dunno much about beat making or anything technichal but it was awesome.
gives out a good feeling, although seems sad it has a inspiring vibe.

Would you mind if i downloaded and Freestyled over?.. i would post the finished on Newgrounds.

CKC2009 responds:

go 4 it.

Niceeee

I think both were awesome!!!
but overall i go with gloine his lyrics were more harsh and and he said him in my view better.

Brilliant

Both preformed perfectly to the beat it really worked with the pace you guys both had.
both worked with the speed of the beat and sped up at certain points nicely whenever you could add extra rhymes.

All in all i think it goes to Gloine his flow worked best!

Gloine! WOO!

I'm just a kid who has a passion for music.. but hey what'do i know?
